The Community Service Team (PkM) of Mercu Buana University Yogyakarta held a training activity on Tourism Communication and Creative Content Production at the Gunung Palung National Park Office, West Kalimantan. The head of the service, Dr. Didik Haryadi Santoso M.A and Kristina Andryani as members saw that important issues in national park management were about tourism communication and creative content production. The first material was delivered by Dr. Didik Haryadi Santoso about tourism communication including how to manage tourism human resources. While the second material was delivered by Wahyu Mulyadi, a videography practitioner and content creator, namely creative content production material including how to produce and manage content for the promotion and marketing of the Gunung Palung National Park in West Kalimantan. Didik added that the purpose of this service was to improve the competence of tourism human resource management and improve competence in producing and managing content for the promotion and marketing of the Gunung Palung National Park, he said.

This training activity was attended by 24 field staff assigned to the Gunung Palung National Park Office. Field staff received materials on tourism communication, especially on tourism human resource management and materials on creative content production to disseminate information on the Gunung Palung National Park.

 

Mr. Leo as part of the data and information as well as the staff of Gunung Palung National Park said "I am very happy to participate in the RCA and NA-based human resource management training, as well as creative video content training held in collaboration between the Gunung Palung National Park Office and Mercu Buana University Yogyakarta. The material is very relevant and can be applied directly, especially in improving managerial skills and creativity in content creation. The facilitator is also very competent and delivers the material in a way that is easy to understand. Hopefully activities like this can continue with other interesting and useful topics".

It is hoped that participants can hone their creativity and competence in tourism communication management, tourism human resource management and be skilled in producing and distributing creative content to have a positive impact on the performance and development of the Gunung Palung National Park Agency.
